About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding John Paul Mitchell Systems' distribution footprint in your assigned geographic area. Your sales objectives are directly tied to growing our presence in PA, MD, VA, DC Metro, and DE.

Your key responsibilities will include developing strong relationships with top-performing salons and distributor stores, growing existing accounts while focusing on acquiring new leads, selling new points of distribution to existing clients, and ensuring brand objectives are met.

What You Will Do
  • Develop strategic partnerships with high-performing salons and distributor stores within your assigned geography.
  • Pursue business development opportunities through lead generation and conversion.
  • Sell new distribution points to existing John Paul Mitchell System accounts.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors to ensure education sufficiency for top-performing salons.
  • Participate in local trade shows and events.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience is required.
  • Beauty industry knowledge is preferred.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $65,000-$75,000, as well as a discretionary bonus plan and comprehensive benefits package.

This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.
