Senior CMM Programmer

This role is responsible for operating and programming a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and other test equipment to support current and launch programs at Yanfeng Automotive.

• Perform layouts and testing as required to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Issue reports to stakeholders upon completion of layouts and testing.
• Maintain accurate records of layouts and testing.
• Provide technical assistance in analysis and problem-solving of dimensional issues.
• Perform gage studies and maintain gage management software to ensure compliance with plant and customer requirements.
• Assist in the analysis and problem-solving of dimensional issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S discipline.
• Improve efficiency in layout performance.

• Minimum of 5 years of CMM experience within the automotive industry.
• Ability to operate and program CMM with complete understanding of software utilized.
• Sound basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Ability to produce clear, legible layout reports.
• Working knowledge of basic metrology principles.
• Basic Mechanical Blueprint reading.
