Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role will focus on driving the expansion of our statewide footprint and leveraging our assets in the region.
The ideal candidate will have excellent networking skills, be able to identify new business opportunities, and establish strong relationships with clients. They will also be responsible for increasing our footprint with national builders, identifying prospective customers, and understanding their buying processes.
This is a dynamic role that requires a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a competitive compensation package including a base salary and commissions, as well as a strong benefits package.
About ARCXISARCXIS is a leading provider of inspection, design, engineering, and quality assurance services for the U.S. residential construction industry. We bring together hundreds of years of expertise and experience under a single brand serving builders in over half of the states spanning the continental United States.
We operate in 28 states across the United States, including the fastest-growing home construction markets, and are continuing to expand. Our goal is to assist our customers in building better homes, reducing risk, speeding completion, and reducing cost.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and relationship-building
- Increase our footprint with national builders by establishing strategic partnerships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business
- Understand customer needs and leverage our services to meet those needs
- Maintain accurate reports and metrics to track sales and prospects
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity
- 5+ years of experience in business development or a related field
- Excellent networking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and other business tools
