The Concord Cheese Shop is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Shop Clerk. As a key member of our deli/retail and cheese departments, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with daily tasks such as restocking shelves and operating a cash register.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the deli, retail, and cheese departments.
• Assist with daily tasks such as restocking shelves, operating a cash register, and processing transactions.
• Develop a strong knowledge of our products, including cheeses, meats, and specialty items.
• Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting shopping experience.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
