**Business Process Consultant/Engineer**

OCT Consulting, LLC is a certified SBA 8(a), minority-owned, small, disadvantaged business providing professional services and Information Technology solutions to the Federal government and commercial clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Consultant/Engineer to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DSCA) Program Executive Office (PEO).

The successful candidate will assist the PEO in the documentation and redesign of corporate processes and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and assessing existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Employing LSS and other process improvement methodologies/practices to evaluate current processes and develop new processes.
  • Developing business intelligence reports and visuals to support data-driven decisions through dashboard tools.
  • Identifying and developing performance metrics for process improvement efforts.
  • Developing, designing, and implementing optimized business processes and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness in a security-focused environment.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders across the PEO to gather requirements and ensure processes align with agency objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilizing data analytics and performance metrics to monitor and evaluate process effectiveness, making recommendations based on data-driven insights.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of processes, including process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with agency standards.
  • Providing training and support to agency staff on new processes and systems, ensuring smooth transitions and effective adoption.
  • Leading and managing process improvement projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and a minimum of 8 years of experience in business process analysis, design, and implementation, with a focus on security or defense-related environments. Relevant certifications, such as Six Sigma or PMP, are highly desirable.

OCT Consulting, LLC offers a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan with 3% employer matching contributions, paid time off, life insurance, short- and long-term disability benefits, and training benefits. The position includes 80-90% telework and is located in Quantico, VA. Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and other factors.
