Thriveworks Counseling Resident Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Counseling Resident in Richmond, Virginia. As a resident, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and gain valuable experience in a private practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling services to clients under the supervision of a licensed therapist
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and supervisors
  • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills
  • Conduct intakes, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and maintain accurate and confidential client records
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
  • Approved by the board as a Resident in Counseling
  • Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
