Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary:

As a Computed Tomography Technologist at Colleton Medical Center, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic equipment, verifying images, and preparing the room for procedures. You will also be responsible for ensuring that proper diagnostic information is provided through the production of high-quality CT scans.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate diagnostic equipment and verify images
  • Prepare the room for procedures and ensure proper diagnostic information is provided
  • Perform CT exams on a variety of different body parts in a timely manner
  • Complete appropriate history forms and technologist exam sheets
  • Start I.V.s and check labs as needed

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
  • ARRT Registered Radiographer or ARRT CT is required
  • South Carolina: SCRQSA in Radiology and/or Computerized Tomography is required
  • Basic Life Support - American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
  • Experience preferred in CT and Diagnostic Imaging to include clinical hours from a school of Radiologic Technology
