Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Northeast Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our emergency services department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 12,000 Annual ED Volume: Our emergency department sees a high volume of patients, providing opportunities for diverse case management and skill development.
  • 93 Hospital Beds: Our hospital is equipped with 93 beds, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care and treatment.
  • 11 ED Beds: Our emergency department has 11 beds, allowing for efficient patient flow and timely treatment.
  • 24-Hour Physician Coverage: We offer 24-hour physician coverage, ensuring that patients receive continuous care and attention.
  • Specialized Stroke and Chest Pain Intervention: Our hospital is equipped to provide specialized care for stroke and chest pain patients, including helipad access for critical air ambulance transfers.
  • Northeast Missouri's Only Level III Trauma Center: As a Level III Trauma Center, we provide advanced care for critically injured patients.
  • EMR: EDIF Medhost: We utilize the EDIF Medhost electronic medical record system to ensure efficient and accurate patient documentation.
  • Board Certification Not Required: While board certification is not required, we do require ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certification for all providers.
