Substance Abuse Specialist

Lexington Center, a leading provider of outpatient and residential substance use disorder services in the Hudson Valley, is seeking full-time substance abuse counselors for its Westchester County locations. We are committed to delivering high-quality care to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a CASAC or CASAC-T certification and/or a NYS license in a behavioral health field. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

This position involves conducting intake assessments, individual and group counseling sessions, family therapy, case management, and documentation. The counselor must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing comprehensive support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

• CASAC or CASAC-T certification and/or a NYS license in a behavioral health field

We offer a competitive salary that is commensurate with education and experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, dental, optical, and life insurance, with the deductible and copays paid by Lexington. Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
