Job Title: Software Development Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Vibrint. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems. You will work individually or as part of a team to review and test software components, resolve software problem reports, and provide specific input to the software components of system design.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems
* Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements
* Resolve software problem reports
* Provide specific input to the software components of system design

Requirements:

* Seven (7) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university

Preferred Qualifications:

* Cloud Experience: Shall have one (1) year demonstrated work experience with distributed scalable Big Data Store (NoSQL) such as Hbase, CloudBase/Acumulo, Big Table, etc.
* Shall have demonstrated work experience with the Map Reduce programming model and technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, etc.
* Shall have demonstrated work experience with the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS); Shall have demonstrated work experience with Serialization such as JSON and/or BSON.
