Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transportation Specialist to join our team at Allegiance Mobile Health. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of patients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for receiving and processing emergency and non-emergency transportation requests from customers, hospitals, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask in high-pressure situations, and have proficiency in basic computer operation.

  • Answer inbound calls promptly and provide superior customer service to ensure a positive experience for all customers.
  • Process emergency and non-emergency transportation requests using our sophisticated Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
  • Determine the most appropriate vehicle for each request based on patient needs and condition.
  • Communicate with customers and facilities to relay information regarding delayed responses or any changes to the transportation plan.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • An Emergency Medical Dispatch Certificate and CPR certification (obtained within six months).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
