Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, WA. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will play a critical role in helping to maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and/or departmental protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Exercise initiative in developing ideas or in responding to or adjusting problem situations.
  • Interpret and apply operating procedures, technical standards, and/or protocols to problems of varying degrees of complexity.
  • Work processes and assignments for patients of all ages frequently require the incumbent to interpret and apply operating procedures, technical standards, and/or protocols to problems of varying degrees of complexity.

Requirements:

  • ASTEP Program or equivalent education/experience.
  • National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists -OR- National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists -OR- National Sleep Disorders Specialty - National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 2 years of recent experience in the field of Sleep Study technology.
