Palliative Care Physician Assistant Opportunity in Seattle, Washington

We are seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expanding outpatient Palliative Care program at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate APP to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families dealing with serious illnesses.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary team environment, delivering high-quality palliative care services to patients and their families in both hospital and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive palliative care services to patients and families in the hospital and outpatient settings.
- Work collaboratively with the interprofessional Palliative Care team, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position.
- BLS certification required.
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience.
