Job Overview

Navion Senior Solutions in Dalton, GA is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medication Technician to join our team.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Responsibilities

As a Certified Medication Technician with Navion Senior Solutions, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medication administration and resident care oversight in our cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to promote positive relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
  • Promote and protect residents' rights by treating them with dignity and respect.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents' information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Stay calm under stressful conditions while maintaining a professional appearance in accordance with community dress code.
  • Document resident information in an informative and descriptive manner.
  • Report changes in resident condition to the supervisor as soon as possible.
  • Follow established policies and procedures for work schedules and assigned tasks.
  • Operate equipment safely and only use equipment previously trained on.
  • Foster infection control practices in all activities.
  • Knowledge of fire and emergency procedures is essential.
Requirements

To succeed as a Certified Medication Technician at Navion Senior Solutions, you must:

  • Hold a High School diploma.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have completed a State Approved Medication Aide course.
  • Possess a Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification.
  • Effectively communicate in written and oral form, and in an interdisciplinary care setting.
  • Work well in an environment conducive to caring for seniors without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others.
