Compensation Specialist

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a skilled Compensation Analyst to join their growing team in Raleigh, NC. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of $75,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis Compensation Analyst position plays a vital part in ensuring fair and competitive compensation for employees at Pepsi Bottling Ventures. The successful candidate will serve as the point of contact for People & Culture partners and department leaders, conducting job and market analyses to inform compensation decisions.
- Serves as the primary liaison between People & Culture (P&C) partners and department leaders for compensation-related inquiries.
- Conducts comprehensive job and market analyses using job questionnaires and various market data resources to determine fair compensation levels.
- Maintains company incentive programs to promote employee engagement and retention.
- Administers the annual merit process in collaboration with the Director of Compensation & Benefits.
- Works closely with the HRIS team to update and maintain the compensation module in Workday HRIS, including job profile and pay grade data.
- Ensures accurate and up-to-date compensation information by maintaining and distributing pay grades and Comp Guidelines manual.
- Manages benchmarking compensation survey participation to stay informed about industry trends.
- Provides guidance on federal/state/local regulatory compliance concerning compensation, such as FLSA regulations.
- Completes ad hoc or periodic compensation projects as needed.
- Maintains job questionnaires, job descriptions, and the job catalog to ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.
- Experience with Workday HRIS is preferred but not required.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, along with proficiency in MS Office Applications, are necessary for success in this role.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal relationship and customer service skills are essential for interacting with various stakeholders.
- The ability to handle sensitive employee and company information in a confidential manner is crucial.
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail are necessary for managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
