Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Raleigh, NC. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide patient care services in a multidisciplinary environment, working alongside inpatient care teams to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
  • Assess patient data and make pharmaceutical care interventions
  • Promote cost-effective drug therapy and provide antimicrobial management
  • Counsel patients and family members on pharmaceutical care issues and lifestyle modifications
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
Requirements
  • PharmD or BS Pharmacy Degree
  • Active pharmacist licensure with the NC Board of Pharmacy or obtainable before initiation of employment
  • No prior experience required, but completion of a PGY1 and PGY2 residency or equivalent level of pharmacy experience is preferred
