Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infection Preventionist. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for leading our Infection Prevention and Control Program, focusing on education, training, and monitoring infection control measures.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of our Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate staff on infection prevention and control practices.
  • Conduct surveillance and monitoring of infections and communicable diseases within our facilities.
  • Develop and implement educational programs tailored to identified needs.
  • Support new hire orientation by providing infection prevention and control training.
Requirements:
  • A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure.
  • A minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent nursing experience.
  • Specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary range of $42 - $45 per hour, based on location and experience.
