Elwyn California is seeking a skilled Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team in a residential group home setting. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with consumers to provide direct care and training, while also participating in the development of individual support plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform general nursing procedures, behavior management, and direct care as dictated by the consumers' health and behavioral care needs.
- Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and contribute to the development of individual support plans.
- Function as lead staff on the shift and oversee DSPs and/or CNAs.
- Provide active programming at all times and ensure adherence to standards, procedures, and schedules established by your supervisor.
- Report any suspicion of or knowledge of suspected abuse in accordance with the law and program policies.
- Possess and maintain a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
- Minimum 1 year experience in the Human Services field preferred.
- High School diploma.
- Valid California driver license.
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug screen, including current TB.
- Successful completion of DOJ and FBI background check.
- Successful completion of all trainings as required by applicable regulations.
