Dishroom Attendant

Job Summary:

Clean and maintain a clean and safe dining environment for IHOP guests. This includes cleaning and resetting tables, cleaning the dining area, washing dishes, pots, utensils, silverware, china, and glassware. Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with IHOP Team Members and guests
• Clean and reset tables, chairs, booths, and floors after guests leave
• Sort and wash all dishware, utensils, and equipment
• Follow IHOP's dish machine and sink procedures
• Unload, unbox, rotate, and store food, equipment, and supplies as needed
• Stock and rotate supplies in service areas and dining rooms
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as IHOP's Safety Manual and SOP health, sanitation, and safety guidelines
• Dispose of trash properly
• Check restrooms hourly to ensure proper stocking levels of supplies and cleanliness
• Perform all cleaning duties according to posted cleaning charts
• Comply with IHOP's uniform and appearance standards
• Perform other assignments or tasks as assigned by the General Manager, Assistant Manager, or acting supervisor
