Wind Turbine Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at Tekwissen. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of wind turbines, which play a crucial role in generating clean, renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform intermediate-level wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks, including using specialized tools, inspecting turbines, and documenting work.
• Gather information about turbine performance and issues, and diagnose and recommend solutions.
• Follow a structured problem-solving process to troubleshoot and diagnose turbine problems.
• Work independently and follow instructions from higher-level technical staff.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Inspect wind turbines for damage and wear, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
• Lubricate and replace moving parts, and repair electrical and mechanical components as needed.
• Operate and maintain specialized tools, and gather data to create reports on turbine performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and recommend and implement solutions to improve turbine efficiency.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or composite skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
