Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

BFF Medical Wellness Clinic is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in functional medicine, hormone therapy, weight loss management, and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Medicine & Hormone Therapy:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, focusing on root-cause medicine to address hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders, and other functional health issues.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans, including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and peptide therapy.
- Monitor patient progress through lab work, body composition analysis, and consultations.
- Weight Loss Management:
- Provide individualized weight loss consultations, including the use of GLP-1 medications like semaglutide, lifestyle counseling, and nutritional advice.
- Utilize body composition analysis tools to track and guide patient progress, ensuring long-term success.
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and design sustainable weight management programs.
- Aesthetic Medicine & Laser Therapy:
- Perform non-invasive aesthetic procedures, including laser treatments (hair removal, skin resurfacing, etc.), body contouring, and injectable treatments (Botox, etc.).
- Conduct consultations to assess aesthetic goals and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the latest technologies and innovations in aesthetic medicine.
- Patient Care & Education:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-focused care, building long-term relationships with patients.
- Educate patients on various treatments, their benefits, and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with the clinic's healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
- Clinic Operations & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with physicians, health coaches, and other team members to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits, treatment plans, and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Stay updated on the latest in functional medicine, hormone therapy, weight management, and aesthetics by participating in continuing education and training.
Qualifications:
- Current PA/NP licensure in California.
- Experience or strong interest in functional medicine, hormone therapy, weight loss, and aesthetics.
- Certification or training in laser treatments, injectables, and other aesthetic procedures is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate and engage patients in their wellness journey.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
