Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team as a Blood Bank Technologist. This is a permanent position with job security, offering competitive compensation and full benefits.
Responsibilities- Resolve compatibility issues and provide complex reference services to hospitals and transfusion services.
- Perform manual test procedures on blood samples and manage receipt, coordination, shipment, and transport of patient and donor blood samples.
- Manage reagent inventory, recognizing and resolving testing irregularities, and assisting other Medical Technologists in problem resolution.
- Consult with staff at other medical facilities to resolve complex serologic problems and provide special units to transfusion recipients.
- Maintain accurate records, perform maintenance, repair, and validation of laboratory equipment and software, and assume lead responsibilities such as record review and training.
Qualified candidates will possess excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A strong understanding of laboratory procedures and regulations is essential.
