Job Summary:

The Direct Support Professional - Mental Health is a vital role at Shangri-La, where you will provide direct supportive services to residents of our Residential Treatment Home. These individuals experience severe and persistent mental illness, and it is our responsibility to deliver personalized services that cater to their unique needs.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing the service plan, providing emotional support, and promoting independence among our residents. Your experience in this position will qualify you as a QMHA and QMHA 2, making you a valuable asset to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide direct supportive services to residents of the Residential Treatment Home
* Implement and follow the service plan for each resident
* Promote independence and self-advocacy among residents
* Collaborate with the Housing Manager to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

* High school graduate or equivalent
* Current Oregon Driver's License and acceptable driving record
* Ability to pass background check screening
* Minimum of one (1) year education and/or experience in mental illness, emotional/behavioral difficulties, or other related conditions
