Hardware Engineering Failure Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineering Failure Analyst to join our team at SEDAA in San Jose, CA. This is an onsite position.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of HW design and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes effectively. They will work closely with our team to develop hardware diagnostics solutions from design inception through coding and delivery to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing board-level diagnostic solutions
- Performing failure analysis on complex electronic systems
- Developing and maintaining diagnostic software tools
- Bringing up boards in the lab using signal capture tools
- Troubleshooting issues with electronic circuits and PCBs
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, power management, and signal integrity
- Proficiency in schematic capture, fabrication, and assembly processes
- Experience with high-speed digital logic, microprocessors, and PCIe interfaces
- Familiarity with electronic design automation (EDA) tools and software development environments
Compensation: We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
