Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Residential Supervisor to join our team at AHRC Nassau. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Manager to foster an environment that supports active participation in daily life, including self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being.
  • Supervise and train Direct Support Professionals to ensure high-quality care and support for residents.
  • Maintain weekly work schedules for staff, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage for resident needs.
  • Document staff performance, training needs, and supervisory sessions to ensure effective supervision.
  • Verify daily completion of treatment plans and necessary documentation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License.
  • One (1) year experience supporting people with developmental disabilities.
  • AMAP certification required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and administrative skills.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. AHRC Nassau offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Location

This position is based at AHRC Nassau's main office on Long Island.
