About the Role
The BSA Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining and supporting BSA-related systems, applications, and technology to ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an administrator and technical liaison for all software systems used by the bank to comply with BSA, OFAC, and the USA PATRIOT Act.
- Assist with the maintenance of systems used by BSA and ensure they are performing appropriately, conduct periodic evaluations, and make recommendations for modifications and efficiencies.
- Oversee systems changes, updates, and maintenance of BSA/AML applications.
- Assist BSA Officer in contracted model data validations.
- Maintain an advanced working knowledge of all Bank systems and processes as they relate to BSA/AML/OFAC compliance. Provide subject matter expertise for business line projects to ensure BSA/AML and OFAC risks are appropriately managed.
- Develop and maintain system reporting specific to BSA metrics and data, including ad-hoc reporting which may be relied upon by Executive management.
- Provide support to the BSA Officer during regulatory exams and independent testing engagements.
- Update procedures related to BSA operating changes, new regulatory requirements, or risk-based enhancements.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent with some related work experience.
- Three to five years of bank compliance experience, with a strong preference for BSA/AML experience and a focus on data analysis, or equivalent combination of education and overall experience.
- Experience with Verafin is preferred.
