Software Development Specialist

About the Role:
Mastech Digital is seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team. As a Software Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications for analytical instruments. You will work closely with our team of engineers to develop and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications for analytical instruments
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers
- Determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities
- Prepare operating instructions and design and develop compilers and assemblers
- Ensure software standards are met
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of C++, C#, and other programming languages
- Experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with GUI development and real-time programming
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or EE
