MRI Technologist Job Description:

An MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI scans on patients to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This role requires operating complex MRI equipment to produce detailed images of the body, which are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Key Qualifications:
  • ARRT (MR) certification
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Tech preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting patient screenings for pacemakers and injuries involving metal objects
  • Preparing and administering contrast dyes
  • Ensuring patient comfort and calmness during scans
