Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and labeling.
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, supplies, and patient information.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medication management.
- Perform arithmetic calculations for medication preparation and dosage determinations.
- Assist in the training of pharmacy technicians and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or post-high school education in a science field preferred.
- Nationally certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or EXCPT upon hire.
- Registered with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician upon hire (except in Pennsylvania).
The Pharmacy Technician II will work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be able to lift 30 pounds, push 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
