Job Title: Nursing Professional - Intermediate Care/Telemetry

Location: College Station, TX

Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Estimated Salary Range: $49,760 - $82,680 per year

We are now offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for nursing professionals with 2+ years of experience.

About the Role

As a Nursing Professional in our Intermediate Care/Telemetry Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to prioritize care needs and develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Care Planning: Create, implement, and evaluate care plans, adjusting as necessary to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Patient and Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with patients and families, providing emotional support and managing discomfort.
  • Education: Educate patients, families, and colleagues about health issues and care plans to empower informed healthcare choices.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate patient care plans, delegating tasks appropriately.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize effective problem-solving strategies to address challenges in patient care, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Teamwork and Growth: Contribute to a collaborative work environment, recognizing team contributions and supporting the professional development of peers.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • A current and valid nursing license.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of starting.
