Role Overview:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our Resilience Environment team in Milwaukee, WI. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in improving quality of life by providing program support for a diverse portfolio of environmental assessment and remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Project Managers and Task Managers with planning and performing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks.
Provide civil and environmental engineering design support, including land development planning, hydraulic modeling, erosion and sediment control evaluations, and earthwork site design.
Assist with developing permit/construction-level drawings and details, preparing technical specifications, and construction cost evaluation/estimating.
Prepare subcontracts and oversee the work of subcontractors.
Perform fieldwork with a focus on health and safety, which may include soil, sediment, surface water, and/or groundwater sampling, geotechnical investigations, and construction oversight.
Write and prepare technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda.

Requirements:

Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
EIT Certification preferred.
Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field preferred.
Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
