Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Med/Tele RN to join our team in Washington, DC. This 13-week assignment will provide the opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting, utilizing your critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and families
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions, reporting outcomes and making adjustments as necessary
- Transport patients safely and efficiently, ensuring their comfort and dignity
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- A valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) preferred
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in med-surg and telemetry nursing
