Job Summary

EXL is seeking a self-directed independent contractor to work as a Commercial Insurance Inspector. As a Risk Control Specialist, you will be responsible for scheduling on-site surveys and providing risk control reports to insurance industry clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate businesses to identify hazards and improve safety, mitigating risk for our insurance company clients.
  • Assess commercial operations, including retail, restaurants, hotels, apartments, construction jobsites, churches, schools, etc.
  • Provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients, containing information necessary to underwrite a commercial insurance policy.
  • Manage assignments, successfully secure customer appointments within a local territory, and complete work assignments on time.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
  • A commitment to meeting client quality and timeliness standards.
  • A reliable vehicle and necessary tools, such as a digital camera, Windows-based computer, printer, high-speed internet access, and measuring device.
  • Auto and General Liability Insurance.
