We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Care Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families.

Job Summary:

The Registered Dietitian will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed, registered dietitian nutritionist. The role involves providing nutrition care and education to patients and/or caregivers, evaluating their nutritional status, developing and implementing care plans, and communicating information to physicians and other healthcare professionals.

About the Role:

  • Evaluate patients' nutritional status and develop personalized care plans
  • Provide expert nutrition education to patients, caregivers, staff, and community partners
  • Serve as a preceptor for medical, dietetic, and food service interns and/or clinical research
  • Assist with performance and quality improvement projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an Academy of Dietetics (AND) accredited institution and/or approved internship program
  • Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) Registration
  • South Carolina Dietetics License
