Patient Access Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Specialist Sr to join our team at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp. This role is responsible for scheduling and registering patients, as well as collecting and verifying demographic information.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule appointments and follow-up appointments, ensuring accurate and timely registration of patients.
- Collect and confirm patient demographics, including insurance and case-specific information.
- Verify insurance eligibility for governmental insurance payors and complete Medicare Secondary Payor Questionnaire as needed.
- Review patient accounts for outstanding balances and forward to Accounting.
- Relevant life support certification, such as BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
