Job Summary:

Harlingen CISD is seeking a qualified Transportation Specialist to safely transport students and school personnel to and from authorized campuses and final destinations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Texas Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsement and be able to manage student behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport students and school personnel to and from authorized campuses and final destinations
  • Periodically transport students and school personnel to and from extra-curricular activities
  • Manage student behavior and maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus

Requirements:

  • Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsement
  • Valid Enrollment Certificate or Texas School Bus Driver Certification
  • Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical Medical Examination
  • Ability to communicate effectively and use a 2-way radio

Benefits:
