Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities. They will also provide direct instruction, assessment, and progress monitoring to ensure students receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement IEPs: Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to create personalized learning plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide Direct Instruction: Deliver specialized instruction in various subjects, focusing on building foundational skills, fostering independence, and promoting academic growth.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Behavior Management: Implement positive behavior intervention strategies to create a supportive classroom environment that encourages social-emotional development and self-regulation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience working with students with special needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
