Tenet Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to join their team at MetroWest Medical Center in Natick, Massachusetts.
Job SummaryThe Surgical Technician will provide assistance during surgical procedures, demonstrating aseptic technique and setting up required equipment and instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surgical protocols and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures
- Set up and maintain sterile equipment and supplies
- Pass instruments and equipment to surgeons and medical staff
- Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the surgical department
- Graduate of a surgical technology program
- 1+ year of experience as a surgical technician
- BLS certification
- Surgical Technology Certification preferred
