Overview
Norman Regional Health System stands at the forefront of workplace excellence, nestled in the Oklahoma City metro area. The innovative cardiovascular program is a cornerstone of our hospital system.
We are poised to move into a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team collaborates with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Responsibilities
Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
Evaluates patient conditions and prepares them for care.
Maintains a sterile environment.
Professional Practice
Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, contributing to their orientation and training.
Utilizes downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
Promotes strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
Candidate must complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
All competencies listed in department policy must be completed within 6 months.
Education and Experience
24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program completion is required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration are necessary.
Previous Procedural Area experience is preferred.
Licensure and Certification
American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS certification, preferably with Cardiovascular (CV), Interventions (CI), or Vascular (VI) specialization, is desired.
Basic Life Support training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care, and current Basic Life Support must be maintained throughout employment. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training should be achieved within 6 months of hire and sustained during employment.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
