The role of a Class A CDL Driver at Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. is to operate a tractor trailer combination or truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW for transporting goods.

This position reports to the Facilities & Operations Supervisor, Dispatcher or the Terminal Operations Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring safe transportation practices are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor trailer combination or truck safely and efficiently
  • Transport goods in compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

No prior experience is required but candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL driver's license and have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
