Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable CHHA Caregiver to provide personal care services to clients in their homes. As a Home Care Assistant, you will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services to clients in their homes
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules and prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of client care
