We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Sales Executive to join our team at Cloudera. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the enterprise market.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in sales strategy, business development, and relationship-building to drive success in the enterprise market. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers.

You will have the autonomy to engage with leading enterprise customers, prospects, and partners, developing and executing business plans to address their priorities and critical needs. Your ability to convey intelligence about customer technology footprints, strategic growth plans, and competitive landscapes will be essential in driving revenue growth and improving customer success.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of experience exceeding enterprise software sales targets, with a proven track record of success in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including executive sponsors, influencers, and decision-makers
  • Convey intelligence about customer technology footprints, strategic growth plans, and competitive landscapes to drive revenue growth and improve customer success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience exceeding enterprise software sales targets
  • Fast-moving start-up and vertical use case-driven experience
  • Data management or data warehousing experience
  • Containers, Kubernetes, and public cloud infrastructure technology knowledge and experience
  • Four-year degree (Bachelor's) from an accredited university required
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
