Rail Yard Laborer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Rail Yard Laborer. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training, perfect for those looking to start their career in the industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks, including:

• Operating a jockey truck to maneuver 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis around the rail yard.
• Engaging in ground duties, such as climbing on and off railcars, securing tracks, and handling inner box connectors (IBC's).
• Assisting crane operators/Side Loaders with equipment loading and unloading using hand signals.
• Stacking and unstacking chassis, as well as loading and unloading chassis racks.
• Fulfilling other assigned duties in a dynamic and team-oriented work environment.

This role offers a competitive starting rate of $20.00/hr, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to get started in the field. The shifts are divided into two options:

• First shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (12 hours)
• Second shift: 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM (10 hours)
