St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking a skilled Physician Associate (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing neurosurgery team.

About the Opportunity

This full-time position involves primarily day shifts with evening and weekend call responsibilities.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Edward Duckworth, MD, St. Luke's Director of Cranial Neurosurgery, providing high-quality healthcare through the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic neurosurgical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat benign and malignant brain tumors, brain and spine vascular abnormalities, and other diseases of the central nervous system.
  • Work primarily in the operating room assisting with surgery, with some clinic components and hospital rounding responsibilities.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree from an accredited school and certification in the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a PA or NP.
  • Unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a fast-paced clinical environment.
