Biology Instructor Opportunity

Madera Community College is seeking a highly qualified Biology Instructor to join our faculty team. As a key member of our academic community, you will be responsible for teaching biology courses, developing curriculum, and contributing to the growth and success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach biology courses, including lecture and laboratory classes, to students of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the college's goals and objectives.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees to promote academic excellence and student success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Mastery's degree in biology or a related field.
  • Experience teaching biology courses at the community college level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
  • Knowledge of educational technologies and multimedia presentation software.
  • Ability to teach courses in a variety of instructional settings, including online and evening classes.
