Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, above market rate, along with a signing bonus, production-based performance bonuses, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, health savings account, company vehicle, 401k retirement plan, long-term and short-term disability insurance, life insurance, generous continuing education benefits, DEA and state veterinary license fees, malpractice insurance, professional association memberships, and discounted pet care for your personal pets.

About the Role

The Veterinarian Care Specialist will provide high-quality veterinary care, both in-clinic and at the client's home. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with at least one year of small animal veterinary experience, preferably feline and canine. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personalized care to patients and their owners in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborating with our medical team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participating in regular doctors' meetings to discuss complex cases, share best practices, and influence care standards.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of small animal veterinary experience, preferably feline and canine.
  • State veterinary board licensure and good standing, with no malpractice or disciplinary actions.
  • A valid DEA license.
  • Punctuality and ability to stay on schedule.
  • Independent decision-making skills.
  • Incredible bedside manner and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build lasting client relationships and provide in-depth client education.
  • Patience and love for animals.
