Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Territory Manager to join our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES DIST INC. This role will be responsible for developing and growing a volume-driven and profitable base of Inside Sales Key Accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and maintain a portfolio of Inside Sales Key Accounts to drive sales growth and revenue.
  • Nurture and develop these accounts to achieve sales volume, rate of growth, and interest in partnership, warranting graduation to an outside Territory Sales Manager.
  • Backfill Inside Sales Key Accounts from the region's House Account list when accounts are successfully graduated.
  • Coordinate with the ASM to confirm account readiness for graduation and facilitate the account transfer.
  • Maintain and improve sales revenue and gross margin.
  • Effectively recruit, train, and develop new dealers to support business growth.
  • Develop proposals for presentation to prospective customers.
  • Maintain customer relationships through proactive communication.
  • Directly manage all aspects of the Inside Sales Key Account customer base.
  • Update and maintain customer and sales information in CRM.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with corporate office staff and field sales organization.
  • Obtain and provide local market intelligence and feedback to the Sales Manager.
  • Develop an annual business plan in conjunction with the Manager, outlining activities to achieve sales quotas.
  • Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close, in an assigned territory.

Additional responsibilities may include performing projects and duties to support ongoing business needs.

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • HVAC experience preferred.
  • Strong abilities to educate and influence partners on HVAC products and programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical skills to forecast channel sales and results.
  • Proven record of achieving planned quota.
  • Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees.
  • Ability to apply good judgment and strong work ethics and integrity on the job and results-driven.
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Self-disciplined individual able to manage a territory from a home-office base.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
