Payroll Services Associate

At Conduent, we are seeking an experienced Payroll Services Associate to join our team in Farmington, CT. This role involves handling various payroll-related tasks, managing multiple clients' interactions, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-end handling and customer support
  • Retrieve incoming mail and scan and distribute mail to appropriate departments
  • Conduct wage audits and handle manual W-2C forms
  • Pull, balance, and print payroll reports
  • Manage client interactions and respond to emails promptly
  • Payroll tax balancing
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
  • Manage client employee data related to new hires, terminations, personnel master file changes, and employee time via upload to and from third-party vendor
  • Research and respond to all payroll questions and inquiries via Case Management System
  • Complete year-end project

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in payroll services and a background in payroll taxes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • ADP experience is a plus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • At least 2 employment references

This role will be critical in ensuring our clients receive accurate and timely payroll services. Excellent customer service, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks will be key to your success.
