Job Overview

To provide the highest level of patient-centered care, we seek a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Hematology and Oncology. This role is ideal for a professional who values leadership, collaboration, and effective communication.

Responsibilities
  • Nursing Practice
    • The RN collects pertinent data to inform healthcare decisions.
    • The RN analyzes assessment data to determine actual and potential diagnoses.
    • The RN develops and modifies a plan of care that prescribes strategies to attain expected outcomes.
    • The RN implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and transitions in care.
    • The RN evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
  • Professional Performance
    • The RN practices ethically and communicates effectively.
    • The RN collaborates with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders.
    • The RN leads within the professional practice setting and contributes to quality nursing practice.
    • The RN evaluates their own and others' nursing practice.
Requirements

We require a licensed and registered nurse in the State of Connecticut with current BCLS certification. Clinical specialty certification is highly encouraged. The RN must be able to assist pushing/pulling/lifting patients ranging from five (5) to three hundred (300) pounds.

Compensation

This position offers an estimated annual salary of $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
