Job Overview

About the Role

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development of educational plans.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure or the ability to obtain licensure in California.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • The ability to work effectively in a dynamic school environment.
